Biography

Leyla Camarillo currently works as the Federal Birth Defects Coordinator; she is the geneticist responsible for the Epidemiological Surveillance System of Neural Tube and Craniofacial Defects at the General Directorate of Epidemiology, Ministry of Health of Mexico. Graduated from West hill Institute, School of Medicine in Mexico City; Degree on Genetics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM); M.Sc. from the UNAM, Diploma in Management and Certification of Health Services (UNAM), Diploma in Epidemiology (UNAM), Diploma in Health Systems (Galilee Institute, Israel). She is a knowledgeable articulate communicator with several years of experience across healthcare and strengthening the program. Effectively train partners in network-based management systems, health, and lifestyle; obesity and fertility, and participated in the national regulation for assisted reproduction techniques.
